Amar is our Principal Dentist at Wodonga Family Dental. Amar graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1998 and commenced working in private practices in Essendon and Wantirna South.
In 2006, Amar purchased this practice which was already established for over 30 years. Over the last 15 years Amar has expanded the practice and has always maintained a passionate and dedicated approach in providing general dental care to the local community with the goal of educating and fulfilling patient’s dental expectations to the best of his ability.
In Amar’s free time he enjoys reading, travelling, swimming and spending time with family.
Dr Katherine Chan graduated from Griffith University in 2011 and has primarily practiced in family practices in regional Queensland and South Australia. When the opportunity came up to relocate to Albury-Wodonga, she leapt at the opportunity.
Katherine enjoys entertaining her patients with humorous stories and anecdotes and appreciates the importance of developing good rapport with her patients.
In her free time, Katherine likes to eat. And cook, but mostly eat.
Dr. Dennis Liang completed both his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Melbourne. As a part of his training, Dennis worked at multiple rural and Melbourne metropolitan clinics, and participated in a dental volunteering trip to Nepal to provide dental care to under-resourced people in rural communities. He has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular focus on prevention and providing oral care education.
Dennis believes that good communication is the key to provide patients with a pleasant, high-quality dental experience and remove the stigma associated with dentists. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have about dentistry!
Outside of work, Dennis likes to remain active with gym, volleyball and futsal. He is also an avid follower of the NBA.
Dr Han Yong obtained a Bachelor of Health Science in Dentistry/Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University. Han strives to provide excellent patient care and the highest quality of treatment without sacrificing patient comfort. Han believes that generosity is one of the most essential fundamentals of being a dentist, he applies this philosophy by caring for his patients and formulating tailored treatment plans according to their necessities.
Han enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry, with a special interest in Restorative and Cosmetic work, as well as Oral Surgery. For Han, dentistry is a continuous learning experience – and so to bring his patients the best and latest in advanced & evidence-based dentistry, he commits himself to continued professional development courses throughout the year.
In between caring for his patients, Han enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, playing the occasional video games and (trying to) keep fit with gym & basketball.
Czarlene is our Oral Health Therapist here at Wodonga Family Dental. She has a strong focus on disease prevention and oral health promotion, with a keen interest in treating paediatric patients.
Czarlene graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health and has been fortunate to have worked in Westmead Hospital, Nepean Hospital and Sydney Dental Hospital.
Czarlene is a local to the Border and is excited to be working with the community she loves and grew up in.
Outside of clinic, Czarlene enjoys exploring new places, collecting house plants and socialising with family and friends.
